DEVA SHANTAY // E-RYT 500, IYT 1000
Co-Director of TNHA, Intuitive Guide, Yoga Therapist & Lead Instructor of Teacher Trainings

Following a near death experience in the Vail mountains, Deva began a search for the deeper meaning of life. This journey brought her to yoga, a practice and a way of life that continues to deepen. Deva is certified through both the Yoga Alliance (ERT-500) and Integrative Yoga Therapy (1000-hour) at the highest levels  and is a member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists.

In the 200hr training, Deva creates a nurturing environment for personal growth. Healing ourselves is one of the most important aspects of the training. Deva teaches in an experiential way, bringing present-day relevance, to the ancient philosophy of yoga. With her background in Intuitive Energy Work, Deva supports students in opening, developing and trusting in their own intuition. With a connection to her own healing process and an ability to intuit the needs of her students, Deva offers wonderful guidance as students transition from passionate yoga students to teachers that make a difference in the world.

BRANDEN COHEN // RYT 200
Founder & Co-Director TNHA, Yoga Instrcutor

Branden has been exploring healing modalities for twenty plus years. His journey began due to a desire to better understand life and it’s myriad of challenges. Immersion in various therapies as a client eventually led to a master’s degree in clinical psychology. In 2007, Branden opened True Nature Healing Arts in Carbondale, CO, offering various healing practices with an emphasis on yoga and meditation. In 2009 he met Deva Shantay and co-created a new healing arts center at the Third Street Center in Carbondale. With Deva’s support, Branden’s yoga practice has deepened and he felt inspired to study Integrative Yoga Therapy which included a six month yoga teacher training.
