Teacher Training

NOT JUST A TEACHER TRAINING, it’s a process of self-discovery & awakening.

The Integrative Yoga Therapy Teacher Training led by Deva Shantay & assisted by Branden Cohen, gives students in-depth skills to teach Yoga as a vehicle for total wellness. Immerse yourself in a healing art, enriched with 5000 years of history. Discover the wholeness that rests within and through our own awakening, create the foundation to support other’s healing.

During the training you will deepen your personal practice utilizing IYT’s teachings and philosophies and gain in-depth understanding of how asanas work at physical, energetic, emotional, and spiritual levels. You will explore the energy of the body, realizing your own intuitive abilities that enable you to dive in deeper into your own practice and enable you to guide others into theirs.

The Integrative Yoga Therapy Teacher Training program gives students in-depth skills to teach Yoga as a vehicle for total wellness. Along with offering Yoga classes with a focus on health and healing to the general public, IYT graduates teach Yoga-based wellness programs in a wide variety of complementary settings including hospitals, businesses, and complementary health care settings. This program is registered with the Yoga Alliance as a 200-hour Teacher Training certification program (RYT-200).

GRADUATE TESTIMONIALS

“The IYT teacher training at True Nature is still revealing its gifts to me a month after graduation. While I feel confident in my understanding and teaching of yoga, the training was so much more than learning how to teach yoga. It was a rich and deeply rewarding exploration into myself and a re-introduction to my very spirit!” – Lori Ventimiglia

“I was lucky to find this training. Not only it was so close to home but it had the most amazing teacher. Deva was a great guide in my yoga path, helping me discover my true self. One of my favorite things of the training were the group meditation sessions.” – Romina Harding

“The training  became a life altering experience as I discovered so much about my inner and outer self. I learned a new approach to living, and began to face some hard truths about myself. I explored the idea of what I was running from for so many years, and began to heal.  I now have a strong personal practice of yoga and meditation and feel much more grounded and joyful in my life. Deva is a gifted teacher and I attribute this change to her love, guidance and commitment throughout the training. With no hesitation I recommend this training for every level of yogi.” – Nannette Weinhold
