True Nature, Lenado is located 35 minutes from Basalt and Aspen, CO.
From Glenwood Springs, Carbondale and Basalt: Travel East on Hwy 82. Turn north (left) off highway 82 at exit 31 onto Gerbaz Way towards Woody Creek Canyon. Follow Gerbaz Way and veer right onto Upper River Road. In just over 1.5 miles, veer left onto Woody Creek Rd. (CR 18). Stay on Woody Creek Rd. for 8.6 miles, passing through old town Lenado (8 miles), cross the single track bridge (at 8.5 miles), just passed the bridge, veer left onto our drive.
From Aspen: Travel west from Aspen on Hwy 82. Pass airport and pass entrance to Snowmass. Take next right off Hwy 82 onto Smith Rd., just passed blinking yellow light. Veer left on Upper River Road. In 1/2 mile, pass post office on the right and the Woody Creek Tavern on the left. Take your very next right (hair pin turn) onto Woody Creek Rd (CR 18). Stay on Woody Creek Rd. passing through old town Lenado (8 miles), cross the single track bridge (another .5 miles), just passed the bridge, veer left onto our drive.
Carpool from TNHA two hours before ceremony begins, meet at the Third Street Center parking lot, meet others going and become friends for life.
Please drive slowly on Woody Creek Road, especially through Lenado. Our neighbors are very kind and appreciate our reduced speeds. In the winter make sure you drive up in four wheel and front wheel drive vehicles with good snow tires.
